Evelyn ("Evie")

Spayed female blue merle smooth Collie (mix?) 10 months old, house- and crate-trained, up to date on shots

Everyone who meets her calls her "a most wonderful dog!" She is very polite with children of all ages.

She would love to live in a home with another dog to play with, do agility or be a running partner.

Requirements: $250 adoption fee/donation, application approval & home visit, at least one obedience course, fenced yard

Freya

Spayed female smooth Collie; 3 years old, microchipped, housebroken. Does not require a crate.

Freya was left on the side of the road after being hit by a car in MIssissippi. Our friends at the Humane Society of Southern Mississippi took her in and provided the surgery needed to fix her ankle, then asked us to take her in to find her a permanent home. Freya needed a second surgery to completely correct her injury, and should be out of her cast by late August. Despite this tragedy, Freya remains a very sweet and friendly dog. She is always wagging her tail!

Gentle and patient with people of all ages.

Likes other dogs, but does not appreciate the antics of puppies

Benjamin

Large-boned, chunky and adorable neutered male Sheltie, approx 9 years old, 42 lbs

Very sweet, loves attention

Likes toys, will play "Fetch"; likes to play with other dogs, but can be bossy and will nip other dogs if he thinks he's going to be stepped on

Needs a fairly quiet home with older children or active seniors

Requirements: $100 (senior adoption fee/donation), application approval & home visit, at least one obedience course, fenced yard.

Gwen

Lovely little Collie Girl, about 18 months old, 45 lbs

Very sweet and submissive. gets along well with other dogs

Constantly "smiling" and wagging
